WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY
Any completed contact forms are sent to sales@safelink.co.uk. This information is used in-house only, to enable us to service your requirements. e.g. Set up an account, answer queries, supply quotations, and other business functions. The data required will be general contact details such as contact names, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses. No card details or banking details are collected by this site.
On line orders require your input of basic contact information to enable us to carry out our contractual obligations for the sale. We may from time to time use your contact details to advise you of new products, any recalls, any updates repricing and any special offers available. We DO NOT share your data with anyone for marketing or analytical purposes. We may have to provide your contact details with couriers to enable the safe and timely delivery of your goods.
Online payments are via a third party with your payment details going directly to the card processing company and not to us. We do have access to limited information collected by the card processing company for security reasons such as the card issuer and IP address. We do not harvest this information or store it on any of our systems. We do not use this data for any analytical or marketing purposes.
COOKIES
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Your contact details are stored for such use on the password-protected third party database as well as on our own in-house system . You may request to be unsubscribed from this list at any time. You may request to have your data deleted at any time.
We do need to inform our parcel delivery services of your delivery address and a contact number and/or e-mail address to ensure the safe and timely delivery of your parcel.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
For mailing lists, we retain your details until you request otherwise or until trading between us ceases. We will retain certain data for periods as required by law for accounting and tax purposes.

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
